Situation: Lizzy is asking about Jane's studies.

Lizzy: Hi Jane! How are you? And how are your studies going?
Jane: Hello Lizzy! I'm perfectly alright. Well, I had quite a dilemma last week.
Lizzy: Why? What happened? 
Jane: My mother got sick so I needed to stay at the hospital for a few days. 
           I wasn't able to catch up with the lessons.
Lizzy: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. How is she now?
Jane: She's getting better. Thank you for asking. 
Lizzy: That's wonderful. I can lend you my notes so you could copy the lessons. 
           We have the same teachers anyway.
Jane: Great! I think everything in the garden will be rosy again soon! :-)
