~~FYI~~
"After you" is a polite phrase that you can say to tell someone that they can go before you. This can be used when you're holding an opened door for someone, or when you're in a line for something and want to let someone go before you.

Situation 1: The gentleman stepped back in line and made a motion with his hand
indicating that the lady should go first.
       Gentleman: After you lady.
       Lady: Thank you sir.

Situation 2: A man is walking into a building when there’s someone walking behind him.
He opens the door and holds it so that the other person can go first.
       Man: After you!
       Woman: Thank you.

Situation 3: Two co-workers are about to leave the office. One of them lets the other go out of the
                           room first.
Mary: It's time to go home, Liza. After you.
Liza: Oh, thank you, Mary. I'll be seeing you again tomorrow.
